Henry Cavill has confirmed that he and his partner are expecting their first child.The Superman star confirmed the news at the premiere for his new film The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare.Speaking to Access Hollywood, the British actor said: “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited.”The Argylle star teased: “I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.”Cavill’s partner is Natalie Viscuso, the vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, the production company behind horror films It and Five Nights At Freddy’s.The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is the latest film by director Guy Ritchie, and stars Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Golding and Hero Fiennes Tiffin alongside Cavill.Set to hit US cinemas on April 19, the film is set during World War II, and follows a group of highly skilled soldiers recruited by the British military to strike against German forces.Cavilll is set to reunite with Ritchie again in the upcoming action thriller film In The Grey.

We’re in the thick of it again, with many must-watch television series hitting our screens in March. While things have been relatively quiet in terms of releases, with a few notable exceptions, March is coming in strong.

Witty, nimble, sharply dressed, and light on its feet, Guy Ritchie’s dexterous “The Gentlemen” is a largely surprising delight (mostly, anyhow)—an entertaining crime comedy with a snap, crackle, and pop that’s far superior to the more self-enamored 2019 film of the same name whence it came. The connections to the original are tenuous at best, nothing more than the cannabis and drug empires milieus in the U.K.

In 2019, filmmaker Guy Ritchie went back to his crime comedy roots with “The Gentlemen,” a film very much in the vein of early films like “Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snatch.” And, of course, in the ensuing years, especially during the pandemic, in the rush and craze for content, everyone wanted a spin-off that would pay handsomely for them, and creators were more happy to oblige.

Yesterday, news dropped that Theo James is the lead of Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming series spinoff of his film “The Gentlemen” for Netflix. Now, Variety reports that the show has the rest of its main cast, and it includes the likes of Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, and Vinnie Jones.

Maybe no one remembers anymore because it came out right before the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, but “The Gentlemen” was a big hit for Guy Ritchie. It made $115 million at the box office, off a $22 million budget, did well with critics, and showcased a big jump in Ritchie’s screenwriting abilities.  Miramax loved it, too, so much so that they started developing a spinoff TV series in October 2022, which Netflix involved themselves in earlier this year.

Thanks to being released in the winter of 2020, “The Gentlemen” narrowly avoided being caught up in the pandemic shutdown of the cinemas around the world. And because of that, the modestly-budgeted Guy Ritchie crime film was able to turn a tidy little profit at the box office.
