Quentin Tarantino asked Margot Robbie not to clean her feet on ‘Once Upon A Time…’ set

Margot Robbie has revealed that Quentin Tarantino requested that she didn’t wash her feet when on the Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood set.The Australian-born actress shared the anecdote in a new video interview with Vogue, where she broke down some of the most famous looks she has sported throughout her acting career.Discussing her fictionalised portrayal of ‘70s actress Sharon Tate in 2019’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood — which also starred Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Pacino — Tate shared insight into one of her most iconic scenes in the film. The moment in question was the scene in which Robbie removes her shoes while in a movie theatre, and enjoys the film while resting her bare feet on the seat in front of her. The scene is one of apparently 36 shots of people’s feet in the film, according to the TopMotionClips YouTube channel, and soon became a talking point around the movie.According to Robbie, while the plan for her to “kick off her go-go boots” and put her feet up was always in the script, the dirty appearance they had in the final shot was a spontaneous choice, after the director asked her not to wash them on the day.“My character walks into a movie theatre to see herself on the big screen, and she kind of kicks off her go-go boots and puts her feet up and settles in to watch the movie,” she explained in the video.

Quentin Tarantino’s final film on its way as title is revealed

Quentin Tarantino is reportedly set to begin working on his final film, which has been given the title The Movie Critic.According to sources at The Hollywood Reporter, the Pulp Fiction director is preparing to direct the film this autumn.Details about the film’s plot are currently being kept under wraps, but sources have described the story as being set in the late 1970s with a female lead at its centre. While it’s not been confirmed, that description suggests the film could potentially focus on Pauline Kael, one of the most influential movie critics of all time. Writing for The New Yorker between 1968 and 1991, Kael was known for her highly opinionated and brash reviews, and often got into heated arguments with editors and filmmakers. In the late 1970s, she very briefly worked as a consultant for Paramount.

In a new interview, the actor — who starred opposite Edward Norton in Marvel’s first standalone Hulk film and reprises his role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination in the new series — says he’s not sure viewers will see the scene, which he says cheekily plays up Marvel’s recasting of the gargantuan superhero when Ruffalo took over from Norton starting with 2012’s “The Avengers.” “I’ve always wanted to work with him, and it just happened to be this, which was kind of fun,” Roth told The Hollywood Reporter.
