He still goes for regular check-ups two years after the ordeal, and says he cannot "understate the mental after-effects" of the health scare.

Homes under the Hammer star Martin, 56, took to Instagram to post an emotional video where he told his followers that he didn't know what to do with the rest of his dad's ashes after they "didn't fit" in the box he had, with the intention of burying them next to his mother.The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! celeb described the post as being "dark humour" as he explained the situation, as he said he was heading to Warrington where lots of his dad's family are from, "to bury the ashes in the place where my mum is buried".
