Leaked Zoom footage of a Nike meeting involving Travis Scott and John McEnroe went viral this weekend, leaving many on social media to think that 2023's most unlikely beef was between going down in front of them. Bjørn Gulden, chief executive of Adidas, has described the multiple antisemitic comments made by Kanye West last year as "very unfortunate," suggesting he does not believe the rapper and Yeezy CEO meant what he said. Gulden was speaking on the Norwegian podcast In Good Company where, as reported by The Guardian, he was asked about Ye's offensive remarks and the end of the business relationship between Adidas and his Yeezy brand. Gulden, who became chief executive at Adidas in early 2023, was working at Puma when Adidas ended their seven year relationship with Yeezy last year.

Adidas is partnering with nu-metal titans Korn for a fall capsule collection, according to an internal document from the brand viewed by Complex. According to that publication’s report, Adidas X Korn will comprise two sneaker lines — the Campus 00s ($130) and the Supermodified ($140) — as well as two black graphic T-shirts ($50 and $60, respectively); two tracksuits, tops and bottoms sold separately for $100/$80 (black and white) and $180/$120 (purple with sequins); and a black-and-white hoodie for $120.

Adidas has formally announced its plans for some of the remaining stock of Kanye West's Yeezy footwear brand. The fate of the shoes, which are valued at $1.3 billion, was kept in limbo after West's antisemitic comments and the subsequent end of their business relationship in October 2022.
