At this point, it’s been clearly established that George Clooney does not like “Batman & Robin,” or at least is so focused on pleasing the fans who hated that movie, that he’ll continue to apologize for the rest of his life. Now, it seems Clooney is even expanding his opinion to encompass the entirety of the character, as proven by him trying to talk Ben Affleck out of playing Batman.

Ever since we first heard earlier this year that the cast of “The Flash” movie would include Batman, there have been rumors about which Batman actors would join the film. We know that Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are joining the film, but what about George Clooney? Sadly, it appears he didn’t get the Bat-Signal.

It’s a damn shame that such a good actor like George Clooney might very well be the worst Batman that has ever graced the big screen. But when you compare him to Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, and yes, even Val Kilmer, Clooney’s performance in “Batman & Robin” is arguably the worst by a mile.

Joel Schumacher’s filmography could never be described as “boring.” Uneven, sure. Indulgent, maybe.
