Susanna Reid's love life in full including why she never wants to marry

TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Susanna Reid previously revealed why she never wants to marry despite being private about her love life.The 51 year old has been asked numerous times before why she isn't married and recently gave fans have an answer to the question. Speaking on breakfast show Good Morning Britain last year, she said: "It was a personal choice. "It's a bit of an old fashioned idea that children are 'illegitimate' if you're not married.

Children are legitimate, whether you're married or not!" Presenter Susanna met her former partner, a journalist, Dominic Cotton, in 1998. They were together for 16 years, and had three children - but Susanna said not getting married was a "a personal choice." Her three sons are Sam, Finn and Jack. According to reports the pair remain friends and have an amicable relationship co-parenting their boys.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: "We still get on so well, Dom is still such a hands-on dad and we really co-parent. "So we live separately but together and happily in the same house. I'm not saying everybody can do it and I definitely think people are surprised that we can do it this way." Susanna's love life remains the focus of attention since her split.

She has since dated Steve Parish in an on-off relationship, who is in the spotlight due to his position as chairman of football team Crystal Palace.The pair split in 2020 after they started a relationship in August 2018, which they then rekindled in 2021, a year after they decided to go their separate ways. It is unclear if they are still together. Susanna is a keen football fan, supporting Crystal Palace.
