Summer Harl has shared a sweet snap of her son Ace with his dad Craig Gordon, after the Hearts keeper returned home from hospital following surgery on his broken leg.
On Christmas Eve, the Jambos skipper suffered a broken leg during a collision with Dundee United's Steven Fletcher, meaning he had to have surgery on Christmas Day, one week before he celebrated his 40th birthday.
And partner Summer has now said the best present she got this year was her man home from hospital. She shared a snap of two-year-old Ace sitting on his dad's lap, with the footie star's leg in a surgical boot
Summer wrote: "It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s who’s gathered around it. Our best gift was getting you home. We’ve been overwhelmed with the love and support for Craig and our family. CG, if anyone can come back from this, it’s you. With you every hobble/step/stride/kick of the way. x."
And many fans took to the comments to send the family well-wishes. One wrote: "So sorry to hear babe! sending all the best well wishes to Craig for a speedy recovery and love to you all as a family!"
