Based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Han (“To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”), “The Summer I Turned Pretty” is a perfectly distracting piece of summer fluff. Newcomer Lola Tung stars as teenager Isabel “Belly” Conklin, whose family’s annual summer trip to Cousins Beach, Virginia gets shaken up by both family drama and Belly’s burgeoning sexuality.

No, and rightly so,” Hanks told The New York Times Magazine.“The whole point of Philadelphia was don’t be afraid. One of the reasons people weren’t afraid of that movie is that I was playing a gay man.” Hanks added: “We’re beyond that now.”“I don’t think people would accept the inauthenticity of a straight guy playing a gay guy,” he went on.“It’s not a crime, it’s not boohoo, that someone would say we are going to demand more of a movie in the modern realm of authenticity.

Summer Games Fest has given us another look at Fatshark‘s forthcoming co-op first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, giving us more of a glimpse of the game’s combat and environments.Fatshark is best known for swords and sorcery stab-fest Warhammer 40,000: Vermintide, and Darktide marks the team’s jump to the science fiction world of Warhammer 40k. It’s a good jump for people who wished that Vermintide had a little more firepower to it, and for anyone that thought normal swords were a little lacking: while the four-player co-op is going to feel similar to fans of Vermintide, the trailer shows a bunch of gory gunplay and also 40k’s iconic chainsword, used here to decapitate a baddie. It’s also a good look at the industrial environments that players will be exploring in Darktide ahead of the game’s September release date.
Goat Simulator 3 has been confirmed at Summer Game Fest, and it’s coming later this year.Little is known about the game, but it was very cheekily set up as though it was news about the long-anticipated Dead Island 2, except it was filled with an incredibly mean and destructive set of goats. The Coffee Stain Studios game is a sequel to the first Goat Simulator, with the developer deciding to completely skip the number 2, because why not.You can check out the trailer below:Coffee Stain said: “Gather your herd and venture forth into Goat Simulator 3; an all-new, totally realistic, sandbox farmyard experience.
