‘Succession’, ‘Stranger Things’ Among Winners At Ninth Annual LMGI Awards — Complete List

Netflix and The Duffer Brothers haven’t even hit the green light yet for “Stranger Things” Season 5, but fans can’t wait for the show’s fifth and final season. And after the thrilling conclusion of Season 4, the stakes against the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, have never been higher.

Maya Hawke is really hoping to send Robin off in a blaze of glory. The actress reveals that she would «love» to see her beloved character die in the show's upcoming fifth and final season, but that she'd also settle for a lighthearted spinoff with Joe Keery. «It's the last season, so people are probably going to die,» she tells of the Duffer Brothers' sci-fi drama on Netflix.

When you look at the biggest franchises on TV and film, you wouldn’t be wrong to say that TV is dominated by “Stranger Things” and film is dominated by Marvel Studios. Jamie Campbell Bower has teased Vecna’s return in the final season of Stranger Things.The actor, who portrays season four’s key villain, Vecna, said in a new interview with NME that he expects the character to wreak more havoc when the Netflix sci-fi drama returns for its fifth season in 2024.At the end of season four, which aired earlier this summer, Vecna is defeated by Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).“He’s pissed, he’s properly vexed,” Bower said of Vecna’s demise. “I don’t think he’s slunk off licking his wounds in misery.

The awards ceremony and reception took place at the Los Angeles Center Studios before an audience of 400 attendees, including LMGI members, industry executives and press. “Succession,” which shot part of its third season on location in Italy, took home the award for outstanding locations in a contemporary television series, while “Stranger Things” won for period television series. Last season’s awards contenders “No Time to Die” and “House of Gucci” also took home awards.
