STV weatherman Philip Petrie has confirmed his engagement to his partner - making an announcement on social media. The presenter posted two pictures on his Instagram, sharing the amazing news from last week with his followers and fans.
In one of the snaps, Philip and his fiancé, are suited and booted while holding a glass of champagne and looking into each other's eyes up The Shard in London. Another picture shows off their stunning rings.
Philip joined Sean Batty as a weather presenter on STV back in 2018, and mostly works weekends and when Sean is on holiday. He captioned the post: "SPOILER. I said yes… 1/12/22"
A number of people have wished the couple congratulations, including former Mrs Brown's Boys star Gary Hollywood, who said: "Congratulations to ya both"
