Editors guitarist Justin Lockey will not be joining the band on their summer tour as he continues to work on his mental health.The band, who released their latest single ‘Heart Attack’ last month, will play a host of headline and festival shows in the UK and Europe this summer, including a slot at Portsmouth’s Victorious Festival in August.Editors confirmed in a social media post this afternoon (May 24) that Lockey, who previously played guitar in Mastersystem and Yourcodenameis:milo, won’t be a part of their tour plans this summer. Instead, their “unofficial seventh member” Nick Willes will step in on guitar duties.“Justin hopes to be back with us on our autumn dates, and we can’t wait to have him back,” Editors added, before sharing a note from Lockey.“Hey all, apologies in advance as I won’t make the festival shows this summer with the band,” Lockey wrote.

A struggling dad has been forced to keep his lights and heating off amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Tracey Hope, who is currently unemployed, says he goes for long walks around parks in his hometown of Leeds to avoid being in the house and keep his energy costs as low as possible.
The 61-year-old doesn't even have a boiler and uses his kettle to get hot water when he needs it, according to the Mirror.
In terms of food bills, Tracey has been living on sandwiches and only buys the cheapest products available in supermarkets.
Many other families are currently facing a similar struggle across the UK, with households expected to fork out an extra £700 on energy bills over the next year.
The father of two, 20 and 26, said: “I try to keep out the house as much as I can. I go to my partner’s house or I go out for walks and stuff. I tend not to use the lights if I can help it, I walk around the house in the dark.
"Don’t have any heating on as I can’t afford it and I don’t have a boiler or anything. If I want hot water, I just boil the kettle.
“During the day, I have sandwiches. I always buy the cheapest food I can get, the supermarket stuff and the cheap brands.”
Tracey receives Jobseeker’s Allowance and signs on at the job centre. He’s struggled to find work since 2016 when he spent six months packing organic fruit and vegetables.
Before that, he’d been unemployed since 2009, when he was packing orders for a distribution company.
He says it’s been tough to find work as he claims “agencies are advertising jobs that don’t exist”.
He’s currently in a dispute with his power company, who claim he owes them £80. Tracey said this came as a shock, as he pays at a quarterly rate which he has been keeping up with and claims he didn’t
