Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reunite and share sweet moment in Baftas 2022 win

won the show in 2021, won Virgin Media's must see moment award at the BAFTAs tonight after wowing with fans with their incredible chemistry and gorgeous performances on Strictly. The moving routine which landed them the award saw the pair perform to Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson's song Symphony. But in the middle of the performance, the music paused as they continued to dance - giving viewers an insight into what it was like to be Rose and not hear the music.

"It made people stand up more for sign language and just better deaf awareness. We still have such a long way to go but it's such a great start.
"The audience waved in BSL sign language in solidarity as the pair accepted the award. Gio added: "This went bigger than what we thought. This has changed peoples life and as a dancer as a teacher that's exactly what makes us proud.
