Strictly's Ellie Taylor and Jayde Adams 'get their bits' spray tanned in the nude

Fifteen celebs took to the dancefloor for the first time at the weekend as they launched the Strictly Come Dancing class of 22. A host of stars kicked off the BBC dance contest to take us through autumn through to December and topping the leaderboard on Saturday night was snake-hipped Will Mellor.

Strictly Come Dancing's Jayde Adams has shared a hilarious wardrobe error in a behind-the-scenes video of her dance on the BBC One show.Taking to Instagram, the comedian, 37, posted a clip from rehearsals of her dance with pro partner Karen Hauer, where they performed a Samba to Dirrty by Christina Aguilera. In Jayde's dance on Saturday, the actress had to rip off blue overalls to reveal a stunning black sequinned gown complete with feathers on it.

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left baffled by Craig Revel Horwood's scoring on Saturday night, after he gave the first three contestants a four.The judge, 57, gave Kym Marsh, Tyler West and Jayde Adams a four sparking people to believe that was the only panel he had available. Tess then pinched her arm and said: "It's real, it's real! Well done darling, it was amazing!" The judges were convinced too, giving her an overall score of 23 - a more than decent score for her first ever dance.

Following Friday's launch show, which saw the celebrities paired up with their professional partners, they are getting ready to perform their first dance. Strictly Come Dancing 2022 is set to begin on Friday 23 September, with a new host of celebrities preparing to take to the dance floor. The launch show will reveal who is partnered with who, and the following evening (24 September) the first live show will air.

Strictly Come Dancing's Jayde Adams has said that being paired in a same-sex couple with pro Karen Hauer "feels natural" and that it is about a "sisterhood". During Friday's launch show, the comedian, 37, was paired with pro Karen, 40, as the celebrities found out their pairings.Talking about being the BBC One show's second same-sex pairing after Richie Anderson was paired with Giovanni Pernice, Jayde told OK! and other press: "I think my partnership with Karen is more about sisterhood and if you're in the dance world, which I was as a child, the sort of all-girl and all-male partnerships is quite commonplace. "Obviously, it's a new thing in these dance shows.

Strictly debut this evening. The Bristolian comedian, 37, danced with her late sister Jenna in disco dancing competitions when they were children. Jenna, who was two years older than Jayde, died of a brain tumour 11 years ago aged just 28 after studying contemporary dance at university.

Ellie Taylor is an actress and comedian best known for appearing in Ted Lasso and panel shows like Mock the Week.
