Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has opened up about her rumoured split from Joe Sugg for the first time since putting their home up for sale. Professional dancer Dianne and thatcher-turned-YouTuber Joe met on Strictly back in 2018 when they came second behind another love story, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
Rumours of their split began to circulate back in December when Joe was notably absent from his girlfriend’s glitzy trip to Australia. Since then, and despite being seen together multiple times and posting pictures of one another, fans have continued to speculate about their breakup.
After the couple put their £1.35 million Sussex home up for sale, some took this as confirmation of their separation. But while appearing on Lorraine on Monday, Dianne put the rumours to bed as host Lorraine Kelly questioned: "How about your lovely man Joe, are you two still dancing together?" Smiling, Dianne replied: “He puts his ballroom frame almost every day and he’s getting better.
He actually is very good and I’d love to do a proper competition with him and see how he goes.” Elsewhere during the interview, Dianne revealed that her dream Strictly partner would be Hollywood star and Broadway actor Hugh Jackman. During the most recent season of Strictly, Dianne was partnered with Kiss FM presenter Tyler West.Throughout their stint, they performed to songs like Hit the Road Jack and the Doctor Who theme tune and remained safe until week eight when they performed the Paso Doble to Unstoppable by Sia.
Tyler, 26, and Dianne were lucky enough to make it to Blackpool week, where they sadly met their end following a performance of Shake Your Booty. Fans also missed out on the chance for Tyler to dye his hair bright red to match
