Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood admitted he was very much distracted from Matt Goss's dance routine because of his 'tight white trousers' on Saturday night. The Bros singer, 55, is paired with Nadiya Bychkova for this year's series and the duo performed a Samba to Night Fever by the Bee Gees.
Presenter Tess Daly thanked the pair for "bringing the disco vibes to the ballroom" after the dance ended, adding: "I know it was your dream to recreate that iconic John Travolta moment." Matt, still out of breath from his performance, replied: "It was... I tried." While they later scored him just 22 out of a possible 40 points, the panel found some positive things to say about the pop star, with Motsi Mabuse saying Matt has "that groove,: adding: "There's something just extra, extra, that you just have that shines through." Anton Du Beke also labelled Matt thrusting towards the judges' table as a "magical moment." Craig went a step further though, admitting he was "distracted" from Matt's routine because of the "tight white trousers" he wore for the dance.
He said: "I was slightly distracted through the whole thing by those very tight white trousers which you unleashed on the nation. "You certainly grooved out the disco stuff, you do need to work on your Samba technique, but well done." The distraction didn't help him win a high score from Craig though, as he gave him just four points while the other judges each gave a six.
Elsewhere on Saturday night's show, Strictly fans were left bemused after Shirley Ballas made a blunder live on-air right at the beginning of the show. As the show opened, Tess Daly turned to Shirley, 62, for a comment after she announced the voting lines would be opened for the first time this

Since signing up for Strictly Come Dancing, singer Matt Goss has been spending hours in the dance studio alongside Nadiya Bychkova as he gets to grips with the ins and outs of ballroom dancing. But while he may be spending working up a sweat in order to impress the Strictly judges and avoid the dreaded dance off, away from his time in the studio, the Bros frontman can be found relaxing at his home in London. Prior to appearing on the show, the 53 year old had been living in Las Vegas where he’d embarked on a residency in so-called Sin City.
Kaye Adams is the first celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing 2022 after losing the dreaded dance-off to Bros star Matt Goss. The Loose Women presenter, 59, found herself in the bottom two with Matt, 54, after the first public vote of the series, and it was a three-to-one decision from the judges.
He sang Drop The Boy with his band Bros when they shot to fame in the late eighties, but singer Matt Goss caused jaws to drop as he hit the dancefloor on Strictly Come Dancing. In the second live show of the 2022 series pop heart-throb Matt showed off his hip action to Night Fever by the Bee Gees.
