Strictly fans are in for a treat this June as the show’s newest judge and reigning champion are bringing back their five-star rated show to Manchester. Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice’s Him & Me tour will take place at The Lowry in Salford Quays on Sunday, June 26.
Having been the first show to perform to a full capacity sold out audience in 2021, when restrictions were lifted, the show will be hitting up a number of venues throughout June and July. Him & Me showcases the duo’s unrivalled rapport, and brings audiences a collaboration of dance, song and light-hearted fun.
The show is directed by West End star Alan Burkitt, who has performed in shows such as We Will Rock You and choreographed for shows Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance? Joined by a world-class cast of dancers and singers, the dancing duo promises to put on ‘the show to end all shows - the ultimate entertaining night out’.
Professional dancer Giovanni says: “Anton is the best by far…FACT. He is the ultimate legend and I’m really happy to be able to tour with him again. Luckily, the feeling is mutual.
Anton said: “I love Giovanni’s enthusiasm. He is a wonderful dancer and an absolute stage presence.”
Anton, who recently joined Strictly’s all-star line-up of judges, first appeared as a professional dancer on the show back in 2004. Partnering with an array of celebrities over this years, arguably his most memorable partnership was with former MP Ann Widdecombe - a match made in comedic heaven.
Having won the hearts of dancing fans across the country, he took a step to the other side of the judging table for series 18 in 2021, taking on the role temporarily. He is so popular that he is now a permanent judge.

Wilson Chapman editorRotoscope animation is a rare technique on television, and a rare one to see used as well as it is in Prime Video’s “Undone.”Created by Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the series is shot in live-action on green screen soundstages, with the footage animated by the companies Submarine and Minnow Mountain. The result is a formally inventive series that uses dreamlike, hazy animated imagery to tell the slippery story of Alma (Rosa Salazar) as she confronts her memories of her father’s death by leaping through time to prevent it.For the show’s recent second season, the animation of “Undone” gets even more ambitious, as the narrative sees Alma and her sister Becca (Angelique Cabral) travel into the memories and traumatic pasts of their father Jacob (Bob Odenkirk), mother Camila (Constance Marie) and eventually their grandmother Geraldine (Holley Fain).

Anton Du Beke has joked he is going to get his first tattoo in honour of Strictly Come Dancing after feeling out of place on the show. The professional dancer, 55, has been a part of Strictly since it first aired on BBC in 2004 and last year became a judge. He admitted that since younger, inked male professionals joined the show he had been pushed to the back of group dances and didn't feel in the spotlight anymore.
