Some Strictly Come Dancing fans were not pleased with the music choices on this year's Halloween show - and they took to the internet to share their thoughts. The themed weekend is highly anticipated every series and this year was no different.
The special spook-tacular weekend saw all the remaining stars performing a Halloween-themed number. While the judges were in costume and clearly getting into the Halloween spirit, fans expressed their disappointment in the music just minutes after the show began.
As reported by the Mirror, the first to perform was Tony Adams and Katya Jones. Despite being dressed as the devil, and dancing to The Devil Went Down To Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band, some viewers were quick to say that Halloween was "ruined" for them.
Fleur and Vito performed a Salsa to Break My Soul by Beyoncé whilst Kym and Graziano did a Rumba to Frozen by Madonna. James and Amy danced a Charleston to Bumble Bee by LaVern Baker and Ellie and Nikita performed their Foxtrot to Scooby Doo, Where Are You? by David Mook, Ben Raleigh.
Ellie and Johannes did their Couple's Choice routine to I Put A Spell On You by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy, whilst Helen and Gorka Foxtroted to Lil' Red Riding Hood by Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs. Hamza and Jowita danced the Tango to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, and Will and Nancy performed to Mama Told Me Not To Come by Tom Jones and Stereophonics.
Angry fans took to Twitter to fume over the song choices - with some saying they weren't very Halloween-themed.
"What an odd song choice #Strictly #strictly2022 #StrictlyComeDancing," one wrote, as another penned: "This song isn’t spooky! I demand my licence fee back! #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
