Will Mellor recently announced that he's been struck down with a virus and has been unable to train with his Strictly Come Dancing partner Nancy Xu over recent days and new pictures show just how much he is suffering. The soap star, 46, revealed that he has been battling an illness in a video shared on Instagram, and explained that he attended dance training on Monday but was forced to head back home. Will, who has continued to wow with his Strictly performances so far, was seen on Thursday following his appearance on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two and could be seen looking run down as he arrived at a hotel in London.
Will looked unwell as he entered the hotel lobby while coughing, before grabbing hold of the bar to balance himself. He struggled to stay steady on his feet as he attempted to make his way to his hotel room and stopped halfway to remove his jumper. The soap star leaned against the wall in the lobby as he attempted to take off the garment, with a member of staff then heading over to help him.
The staff member put his arm around Will, who remained unsteady, and took him over to a nearby chair where the Strictly star took a seat. He rested on the chair for around 30 minutes and was given a glass of water and tissue to blow his nose into, before eventually making his way up to his suite. Illness has prevented Will from rehearsing for Saturday night's live show but he has remained hopeful that he will still take to the dance floor.
