Strictly Come Dancing's four new professionals are set to be introduced to viewers in a cinematic routine filmed alongside the returning cast. European cup winner Vito Coppola, Chinese national champion Carlos Gu, former Under-21 British national champion Lauren Oakley and Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas complete the show's largest-ever line-up of 20 pros this year.They join the returning Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu.The introductory routine will form part of the Strictly Come Dancing launch show airing on BBC One and iPlayer on 17 September.

BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is the highlight of the autumn TV calendar and fans of the show are in for a special treat this year as a new themed episode will be making it's debut. Celebrating 100 years of the BBC, the fun-filled new theme will see each of the couples take to the Strictly ballroom floor, either dancing to a theme tune from an iconic BBC programme or in tribute to one of the BBC’s most loved services.
It's been almost a year since Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice won the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball trophy and now a new line-up of celebrities are getting ready to hit the dance floor, including actress Kym Marsh and Paralympian Ellie Simmonds. As well as a new special BBC 100 themed week, this year’s series will of course include viewer favourites, Movie Week, Halloween Week, Musicals Week, plus a highly anticipated return to Blackpool after a two year absence.There will also be two dazzling professional routines, one dedicated to the BBC’s natural history programming and another that will see our professional dancers “crashing” some of the BBC’s flagship shows.
