Forecasters at the Met Office have issued a warning to expect thunderstorms and heavy showers across large portions of the UK on Monday as the latest heatwave to scorch the nation comes to an end.The weather warning, which was issued on Friday morning, covers most of the UK - with a few exceptions dotted along the east of the country including Norwich, Hull and Chelmsford. London is also thought to escape the oncoming storms on Monday, according to the current forecast.The yellow weather warning, which will run from 6am until 11.59pm, will see downpours hit the country after months of low rainfall.
