Several large knives, a suspected stolen motorbike and a 'significant' amount of drugs have all been seized in an early morning raid. Greater Manchester Police made three arrests after swooping on a property at Queens Park Road, Heywood, this morning (May 17).
It followed intelligence received by cops in Rochdale. GMP says it discovered a significant quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs, along with some Class C drugs.
Large sums of cash were also seized. A 42-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested.

All three were arrested under suspicion for possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intention to supply, suspicion of possession of Class C drugs, suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, and suspicion of handling stolen goods. Sergeant Jay-Naren Uppal, from the proactive Neighbourhood Team, said: "This was a fantastic result for our officers and was a great success in many areas.
"We seized harmful drugs, recovered stolen property, and took offensive weapons out of circulation. Our number one priority is keeping the local community safe and we will do what we can to ensure that."
