Stoic Meghan Markle supports grief-stricken Harry as his emotions show

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle , has stoically supported her husband Prince Harry , following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II . The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held hands as they moved through Westminster Hall at the end of the service while the other royal couples in the procession party walked side by side not touching. Meghan, 41, was seen travelling to Westminster Hall in a car with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Meghan's husband Prince Harry, took part in the procession from Buckingham Palace.
Prior to the Queen’s passing, the Sussexes had departed from official royal life, returning previously just for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Princess of Wales and the Queen Consort , were also seen travelling in a car to Westminster Hall as their husbands Prince William , Prince of Wales, and King Charles III , took part in the procession. Arriving at Westminster Hall, the royal family could be seen standing in silence as the Archbishop of Canterbury gave her short service, alongside the Dean of Westminster.
Many members of the royal family wore military uniform, with the exceptions of Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, neither of whom are working royals. The women also paid tribute to the late monarch in the outfits, with Meghan wearing a pair of her earrings . Meanwhile, Kate wore pearl earrings and a large silver brooch. Both of these appeared to be a nod to her late grandmother-in-law who was well known for her love of both pearls and brooches.
