Viewers were feeling nostalgic as they recognised a contestant on the ITV talent show Starstruck from The X Factor. After watching the final of The Masked Singer, music fans were in for another treat as superfans transformed into their idols to sing their classic songs.
Each team of singers experienced the ultimate star makeover as they transformed into their icon before stepping onto the stage, watched by judges Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jason Manford and Shania Twain. As team Chaka Khan took to the stage fans were stunned as they clocked a familiar face from the Simon Cowell singing contest The X Factor.
They recognised West End singer Treyc Cohen from series seven of the show, which was shelved in 2021 after launching in 2004. Treyc made it to the finals in the girls category mentored by Cheryl in 2010.

She was eliminated in week five, finishing in 10th place after losing the sing-off to fellow category member Katie Waissel in the series which also gave us One Direction and was won by Matt Cardle.

Treyc mentioned being in the West End in shows including Hairspray and The Lion King, but didn't mention The X Factor. As she got set to sing for Cheryl at Judges Houses, the Girls Aloud star told Treyc: "Whenever you're ready," to which the singer replied: "I'm ready," prompting Cheryl to tell her: "You said that with some determination!"
