In January 2021, I went to see my doctor for a health issue and found out I was a bit overweight and had pretty high blood pressure. As a result, I decided right then and there to change my life for the better.

One of my favorite meats to eat is rabbit. That’s right! The cute, furry, little bunny with its adorable wiggly nose is totally edible and delicious.

Change. If I had to describe 2020 in one word then I would describe it as a year of change.

As we all know, 2020 was no ordinary year and I think it is safe to say that everyone’s life changed pretty drastically. A global pandemic has a way of doing that, doesn’t it? Well, I am certainly not immune to the pandemic or the effects of it.

If you’ve followed my travels for any period of time, then you know I am absolutely, head over heels in love with the country of France. I love the language (and am currently learning it), the food, the culture, and its history.

Meatloaf is a quintessential American dish consisting of meat and other ingredients made into a loaf and then baked. Although it is much beloved in the United States, it is also enjoyed around the world albeit is often known by other names and may be prepared slightly different.

In 2020, travel is fairly restricted and, for the most part, we are not really permitted to travel outside the US. There are a few countries US citizens are able to travel to but I do not feel comfortable boarding a plane right now given the pandemic is, as of this writing, still raging with infection and death numbers increasing drastically.

Before we go any further, dear reader, you should realize this post is about a topic a lot of people might find inappropriate- SEX. Sex is a glorious thing.

We live in this highly connected world and a huge aspect of this connectivity is the ability to see the lives of our peers. Sometimes it might seem everyone around us is living their best life and enjoying tons of success.

For some incredible, otherworldly scenery make your way to Joshua Tree National Park located in Southern California. The landscape here is mesmerizing and really makes you feel at peace, not to mention it’s one of the best places in the US to stargaze.

Alright everyone, as I’ve explained in a previous post, this global pandemic has really disrupted life for all of us as we know it. Normally during summer, we are heading out on trip after trip seeking all the adventure our hearts can handle in new cities around the world.

Five years ago I decided to start a blog and my original intent was to present my life for the world to see as a response to all the questions people kept asking me about gay marriage. Marriage equality had become the law of the land in the US and we were thrilled about it.

When it comes to soups, tomato soup alone stands as the queen of all soups. The only downside to tomato soup is I often crave it in the Fall but its main ingredients, tomato and basil, are at their freshest and tastiest in the middle of summer.

Located in the middle of the Mojave Desert and surrounded by stunning desert scenery, Las Vegas is one of the most famous and exciting entertainment hubs on earth. The fact that a city sprung up in one of the most arid climates in the US is quite a surprise but there it is…thriving.

For a hearty recipe to make for dinner when there’s a bit of a chill in the air, look no further then chicken pot pie. Of course, it doesn’t need to be cold outside but it is a perfect meal for a nice autumn or winter dinner.

Mexican Picadillo is a warm and comforting food, but not spicy, that is easy to make on a week night. It requires minimal effort, cooks in one pan, and is ready to eat in about 45 minutes. Picadillo is eaten all across Latin America and there are many variations that include a whole plethora of different ingredients. However, the recipe here is based off of that which my family has always made in the Monterrey region of Mexico, located in the north of the country.

The excitement of initially deciding to go on holiday and then actually planning your trip out can be overwhelmingly fulfilling. You look forward to the day you get to jet off on a plane to some place you’ve never visited before with plenty of exploration ahead of you.

Into today’s modern world, we are often granted very little vacation time or we are so busy with our jobs, social lives, and families that holidays are sort of pushed to a back burner. Paris is a city everyone wants to and should experience at some point in their life. It’s a city that is overflowing with things to see and experience.

Mexico City is one of the largest cities in the world and that means there is a whole lot to see and do during your visit. Restaurants and food stands abound, history is tangible, and the city seems to have an energy that makes you want to go out and explore.

If you’re planning a trip to Europe and want to include France on your itinerary, consider making an excursion to the South of France. The southern region of France is home to warmer temperatures and beautiful beaches that make it a great French holiday destination.

There is a chill in the air, the leaves are changing color, and the days are getting shorter. That can only mean one thing- Fall has arrived and with it so too has Halloween! In the United States, Halloween is a very big deal.

I travel a lot, as you know, and sometime while I’m sitting on a bus or in a train, I have thoughts. These thoughts are about life and about myself and about others.

If I had to choose my favorite place in the entire world, I’d choose Provincetown, Massachusetts (or Ptown as it is loving referred). If you’ve never heard of Ptown, that’s ok. About 6 years ago, when I was invited to Ptown, I had no idea where it was. I’d never heard of the place. But I’m certainly glad I decided to go and it is an annual tradition to spend some of the summer there every year.

Heading to Paris, France is often the highlight of most people’s bucket list and it’s no wonder. Paris is home to a thriving and lively culture, beautiful architecture, and has plenty to do.

Grenoble, France is a city located in  Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France and sits at the foot of the Alps between the Drac and Isère rivers. It’s about 60 miles away from the major city of Lyon but can easily be reached by train.
