Sony Delays Camila Cabello’s ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife,’ ‘Uncharted’ and Sony/Marvel’s ‘Morbius’

Morbius and Suicide Squad star Jared Leto has lined up his next movie. The actor is set to reunite with director Darren Aronofsky for upcoming chiller Adrift, which is based on a short story by The Ring author Koji Suzuki.

Originally, Jared Leto’s debut in the world of Marvel superheroes, in Sony’s upcoming film, “Morbius,” was supposed to happen last summer. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened and the film has faced multiple delays, now putting the release in January 2022.

Jared Leto‘s new Spider-Man spin-off Morbius has been delayed again, only weeks after an initial release date change.The comic book thriller, focusing on the notorious Spider-Man villain, was originally due to be released in July 2020.Coronavirus-related delays then pushed it back to March 19 this year.

It feels like it was only a few days ago that Sony delayed “Morbius” from its March release to October of this year. Well, that’s actually because it less than two weeks ago that it happened.

Camila Cabello is teaming with Movement Voter Fund, a charitable nonprofit that connects donors to grassroots organizations, to launch the Healing Justice Project, which will focus on giving frontline activists access to mental health support.
