It may be the end of Ramsay Street as the beloved soap from down under has been axed for good, but the Aussie show will always have a place in our hearts. After 37 years on our screens, it was revealed yesterday that Neighbours would cease production this coming June. But though the lights on the fictional suburb of Erinsborough may be fading, the show has brought us some of the best entertainers in the business who have gone on to amass fortunes from their successes.

Since we first met the residents of Ramsay Street back in 1986, Britain has proved the most loyal fanbase for Neighbours. So fans are reeling from the news that the soap is due to finish filming this year.

Neighbours has confirmed the sad news that the long-running series will end production in June after losing their key broadcaster and failing to find a replacement. There were hopes that the Australian Soap would find a new home after it was announced that the show was being let go by UK home Channel 5, but the series has now confirmed that the soap will be axed and filming will finish in June.

Neighbours is to be cancelled after 37 years with producer Fremantle unable to secure an alternative funder for the show.
