Temperatures are expected to plummet over the coming days with parts of the UK set to experience lows of -5C. Brits can also expect to feel the chill this week as the temperature is set to remain around freezing point over the coming days. The Met Office has warned that many people across the country should be prepared "to scrape your car windscreen this Monday morning" as this week gets off to a "chilly" and "frosty" start.
