Simon McCoy proudly reminded viewers he would not be presenting coverage of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on GB News in a subtle dig at his old employer on This Morning. Veteran broadcaster Simon presented at the BBC for 17 years before leaving for GB News last summer. However, he confirmed his departure from the channel back in December 2021, just months after taking on the new role.
