Shane Warne's mother Bridgette has broken her silence following the shock passing of her beloved son at age 52. Australian cricket legend Shane was in Thailand at the time when he passed away following a suspected heart attack. His management confirmed the news in a statement which said: "Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.

He said in a statement: "Shane Warne didn't just inspire a cricket generation - he defined it. "To us, he was the greatest – but to his family, he was so much more. Our hearts are breaking for Shane's family and friends - and they are in the thoughts of all Victorians.
"I have offered a state funeral to his family so Victorians can pay tribute to his legacy and contribution to our state, community and country." Shane was in Thailand with four friends when he suffered a suspected heart attack. It has since been reported his pals they performed CPR on him for 20 minutes before the ambulance arrived. He was then taken to Thai International Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
