Sega admits it announced next ‘Sonic’ game too early

Dontnod Entertainment has announced that Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed until early 2022.In a tweet today, Dontnod revealed that the remastered version of Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm has been delayed to early 2022.

Sega has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog and his long-time sidekick Tails will be playable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.The news was shared on Twitter today (August 11), confirming that both characters will be free and unlockable characters on all platforms “through normal gameplay” when it launches on October 5.This isn’t actually the blue hedgehog’s first appearance in the Super Monkey Ball series, having also been an unlockable guest character in 2019’s remaster Super Monkey Ball:

Nintendo has announced a new Indie World Showcase where a number of indie games headed to Nintendo Switch will be shown off. The stream is set to debut on August 11 at 9am PT (5pm BST). Nintendo has confirmed that it will feature 20 minutes of information on upcoming indie games due to arrive on Switch in the future.

THQ Nordic has announced that Darksiders III will be coming to Nintendo Switch next September and will include all DLC (downloadable content).The Nintendo Switch edition of Darksiders III will release on September 30 and will include the Keepers Of The Void and The Crucible DLC. The game will cost £34.99 and is available in both the Nintendo eStore and as a physical copy.Darksiders III allows players to take control of Fury, one of the horsemen of the apocalypse.

Epic Games has revealed that a Fortnite crossover with The Suicide Squad‘s begins tomorrow (August 3), starting with a skin for Bloodsport.Since being teased by director James Gunn on Twitter last Wednesday (July 28), Fortnite fans have received their first proper look at the Bloodsport skin with a video featuring Idris Elba. Elba plays the mercenary Bloodsport in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad.As introduced by Elba, “Bloodsport is coming to the island and he’s playing for keeps”.

Epic Games has announced Fortnite‘s next big event, The Rift Tour, an in-game musical experience coming next month.Starting from August 6 through to August 8, players will be able to play Fortnite for “an experience like no other, filled with magical new realities and a record-breaking superstar”.“Fortnite is a place for the imagination and the impossible,” said Phil Rampulla, Head of Brand at Epic Games.
