Stewart and Rachel Abrams as a TV series. The book, published by Penguin Random House in February, tells the sordid, behind-the-scenes story of the battle for control of Sumner Redstone’s media empire. The book has been the talk of the town in Hollywood as industry insiders learn the unvarnished details behind the recent history of Sumner and Shari Redstone, Viacom, CBS Corp., Leslie Moonves and a host of other prominent figures. Paul is in the process of recruiting a writer to develop the property as a limited series through his SP Media Group. The deal was brokered for Stewart and Abrams by CAA’s Ron Bernstein and SP Media president Scott Karol.

Paul O'Grady's eleventh and final series of For the Love of Dogs premieres at 8.30pm on ITV tonight. Variety understands work got underway on a fourth season last May but the creative team were sidetracked by the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September and her son Prince Charles’s succession to the throne. “The Windsors” team are set to mark Charles’s coronation next month with a feature-length special, which recently wrapped. A rep for Channel 4 said a fourth season hadn’t yet been confirmed but Variety understands that the team are planning to start shooting later this year or early 2024. And while the show will not feature the latest generation of royals, which include William and Kate’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, some of the kids may have a pivotal role to play in at least one episode.

Plot details are currently unknown.Feig is probably best known for directing “Bridesmaids,” which began a string of profitable, high-concept, female led comedies like “The Heat” and “Spy.” In 2016 he directed the all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot, which became a cultural flashpoint, cutting short a potential franchise and leaving Sony to quickly revert to a more traditional approach with the release of “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” in 2021.
