A restaurant in Argyll & Bute has been named one of the best destination restaurants with views in the UK.
The newspaper has shared a list of seven restaurants across the country that offer both "an incredible view and an exceptional meal". While various areas of England are represented in the list, only one Scottish restaurant appears.
According to The Times, Inver in Strathlachlan is among the very best spots in the nation to enjoy some delicious food and breathtaking views. The restaurant is approximately an hour and a half in the car from Glasgow on the shores of Loch Fyne in Scotland's west coast.
It describes itself as a "small, characterful restaurant" and serves up simply prepared fresh seafood and native meat and game in season.
Those heading to Inver for dinner can enjoy a five-course tasting menu featuring "the very best local wild and farmed ingredients".
Located on the shores of Loch Fyne, the restaurant offers one-of-a-kind views out towards the mountains, the sea, and the Western Isles. With the winter weather well and truly here, it's the perfect time to soak in the moody panoramic loch views while treating yourself to some hot food.
The Times states: "Loch Fyne offers a Highland panorama that is the dream of every Scottish souvenir shop. On its gentle banks, looking out towards the moss-masked Old Castle Lachlan, sits Inver, led by the award-winning chef Pamela Brunton and her husband, Rob."
Other restaurants featured in The Times' list include The Samling in Cumbria, Gara Rock Restaurant in Devon, and Rhosyn Restaurant in Pembrokeshire.
The full list can be found on The Times website.
