Scots otter found trapped under car bonnet in bizarre SSPCA rescue mission

SSPCA rescue mission. The animal had got himself been 'spooked' by residents and snuck inside the car to hide. It is believed he had been trying to reach a pond in Edinburgh before getting stuck.

Animal rescue officers Darren and Sarah attended the scene after the alarm was raised by concerned locals.When they opened the car the terrified otter managed to make his escape and darted off believed to be uninjured.The SSPCA said: "When Sarah and Darren opened the bonnet, it turned out the otter.
