A Scots mum has secured a six-figure sum backing from Dragon's Den after appearing on the show last night.
Victoria Fullarton, 32, won the approval of Dragon Sara Davies who was impressed with her gadget that promised to let parents know when their babies are tired.
The Toto Sleep is a bracelet which is worn by children from six months and it sends alerts to parents, through an app on their mobile phone, when their child is sleepy.
Victoria, who lives in Uddingston, Lanarkshire, came up with the concept six years ago after having her own daughter and began tracking her sleep patterns.
She told the Daily Record: "I came up with the idea while I was sleep training my own daughter and came up with the hypothesis that there are certain biometrics that tell you the time when your child is susceptible to going to sleep.
"I monitored my daughter and picked up on all those biometrics which are related to sleep and decided to come up with something that would be useful for all parents."
After developing three prototypes Victoria, whose background is in psychology and child development, was invited on to BBC's Dragon's Den to try and convince big business owners Peter Jones, Steven Bartlett, Deborah Meaden, Touker Sulyeman and Sara Davies to invest in her company, Toto Sleep.
Victoria faced some opposition from Touker Sulyeman who did not think people would want to buy the high-tech bracelet.
He told Victoria: "I honestly believe that parents are not going to pay just to monitor sleep. Parents are now finding there's too much tech, too many add-ons."
But Victoria piqued the other judges interest with her quick-witted response, saying: "I think it's a generational thing these days as well." To which Steven Bartlett replied: "Burn!"
