The highest value postcode areas in Scotland have been named by one of the UK's top real estate firms.
Zoopla has created a definitive rundown of the nation’s most valuable postcodes based on average house prices.
These 10 postcodes have been named as the highest value in the whole of Scotland, with an average house cost easily topping the £400k mark, meaning many of us can only dream of having that kind of money and living there.
Unsurprisingly, the capital tops the list for Scotland with no less than three entries in the top five, and other sites in the Lothians making up the final two.
In fact, the top seven entries have EH postcodes, with the EH10 postcode, which includes the suburb of Morningside, taking the top spot with an average property value of £549,221.
The East Lothian villages of Humbie, Gullane, North Berwick are the other EH entries outwith the capital.
The village of Milltimber is the first of the non-EH postcodes in 8th place, while the village of Lochailort on the Road to the Isles between Fort William and Mallaig comes in ninth.
Leven (KY9), a seaside town in Fife, rounds off the top 10.
