This year's Scottish Italian Awards have taken place as cafes, restaurants and delis across the country were crowned as the best of 2022.
Awards which were given out on Sunday, November 27 included the honours of best pizza, pasta and the top barista in the country among many others.
As reported by Glasgow Live, restaurants in Scotland's largest city took home coveted best pizza and best barista awards. Meanwhile, Edinburgh restaurants took home several 'Highly Recommended' awards for best team and best pizzeria among others.
Businesses further north received recognition as well, with the Colpi ice cream at Miele's Gelateria Inverness winning a highly recommended award and Da Vinci Italian Restaurant in Aberdeen winning the 'Asacert ITA0039 Award'.
A special lifetime achievement award was given to Natalino Celino of Celino's, while outstanding achievement was awarded to Marco Acari.
In attendance were the likes of Great British Bake Off winner Guiseppe Dell Anno and Hollywood actor Giani Capaldi as well as celebrity Italian chef Aldo Zilli who was among the esteemed judging panel.
The award organisers took to social media on Monday, writing: "A massive congratulations to all our highly recommended and winners for this year's awards!"
The event took place at the Doubletree By Hilton in Glasgow and was the ninth annual celebration of Italian food in Scotland.
