Hot on the heels of reality show hits such as Celebrity Hunted and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Channel 4 will once again be bringing us a dose of star studded entertainment with their brand new show, Scared of the Dark. Hosted by Eastenders icon Danny Dyer, the new reality show will task several of our favourite celebrities with living in a pitch-black bunker for eight days - an experience that is definitely not for the faint hearted.
Rigged with infrared cameras, the purpose built living space will truly test the stars to their limit, with each celebrity having to undergo a series of challenges to try and survive the week. With Scared of the Dark due to hit our screens in the coming weeks, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the exciting new show.
What is the show all about? Scared of the Dark is a brand new reality series, that will task eight of our favourite celebrities with living for eight days in total darkness. For the duration of the competition, the stars will spend their time in The Bunker, a purpose built facility rigged up with infrared cameras, but devoid of any light.The celebs will then be tasked with competing a series of tasks to try and retain their place in the bunker and any hope of securing victory at the end of the eight day stint.
Although it may sound easy, the challenge is actually anything but, with all of the tasks designed to test either their primal fear of total darkness or their ability to function in the pitch black.
