Ana de Armas is set to make her hosting debut this coming weekend, it's unlikely fans will see her  co-star, Chris Evans, ever take the stage to host.The co-stars — who previously played enemies in and now play a misfit romantic couple in the new action comedy — recently sat down with ET while promoting the Apple TV+ film, and Evans reflected on de Armas' upcoming hosting gig.«It makes me sweat just thinking about it,» Evans said with a laugh.The handsome star doubled down when asked if he might ever face that fear and make his debut, and Evans said in no uncertain terms, «I refuse.»«I can't! It's too much pressure,» Evans added, seemingly fazed by the very idea of trying his hand at it.«If you keep saying that, I’m gonna [start to] second guess,» de Armas joked. «He’s making me [nervous].»Despite Evans inadvertently instilling some trepidation, de Armas says she's really excited about the honor and the opportunity.«You know, I'll do the best I can.

The acclaimed comedic actress is set to host April 1.Then, alum Molly Shannon returns for the April 8 episode, accompanied by the Jonas Brothers, who are making their first appearance on the show since 2009. For the show's third April installment, Ana de Armas and Karol G will be on hand to head up the April 15 episode.This season, the new cast has looked quite a bit different, with four fresh new faces after a surprising exodus of long-time cast members — including veteran castmember Cecily Strong, who departed the show mid-season during the last episode of 2022.

The vote took place during a Wednesday night meeting of the crew and Editors Guild representatives. The contract now goes into effect immediately and runs until the summer of 2026. “The solidarity and bravery of this crew are just so impressive,” said Cathy Repola, National Executive Director of the Editors Guild. “They fought not just to improve their own working lives; they have also set a standard that will benefit all those who follow in their footsteps at this TV comedy institution. It was an honor to work with them on reaching this significant agreement.”

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor The post-production editors behind “Saturday Night Live”  have reached a tentative agreement with NBC, averting the strike deadline of April 1. If ultimately ratified by the crew made up of 12 to 20 workers, the three-year deal will result in pay increases of up to 60% over the life of the contract and deliver immediate pay boosts. The contract will offer workers healthcare benefits, ratification bonuses, guarantees of employer-paid meals, transportation and hotel accommodations for employees working long shifts with short turnarounds. Sources close to the negotiations confirmed that a tentative deal has been reached.

There will be no strike at Saturday Night Live.
