Matt Tebbutt has announced he was rushed to hospital earlier this week for an emergency operation.The 48 year old took to his Instagram feed to share the news with his 62,200 followers as he posted a snap of himself on a hospital bed attached to a morphine drip. In the caption, he explained: "Me, a morphine drip and an emergency appendectomy are keeping me from a much anticipated lunch at @manteca_london with @ollysmith @sarah10016 @hardiegrantuk". An appendectomy is is a surgical operation where the appendix is removed and is normally performed as an urgent procedure.
