Sarah Michelle Gellar is heading back to television!
The beloved actress announced the exciting news during a surprise appearance at 2022 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21) at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.
SMG will be starring in the upcoming Teen Wolf offshot series Wolf Pack, which will air on Paramount+. The news was announced during a panel for the streamer’s upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie.

The upcoming series is based on Edo Van Belkom‘s novels and Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis is adapting the books into the show. THR reports that the show “centers on two teenagers (Armani Jackson and Bella Shepard) whose lives are changed when a wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature.”
SMG will play “Kristin Ramsey, a highly regarded arson investigator who’s tasked with finding the person who started the wildfire.” She will also be an executive producer on the show.
Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin were on hand to debut a teaser trailer for the upcoming Teen Wolf movie.
Here is the synopsis: “A terrifying new evil has emerged in Beacon Hills calling for the return of Alpha Werewolf Scott McCall (Posey), to once again reunite the Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and other shapeshifters of the night.
