Sarah Ferguson’s debut novel will be released by racy publishers Mills & Boon

EXCLUSIVE: In the wake of a hot 2020 which saw Blitz Bazawule’s Beyonce visual album Black Is King debut on Disney+, in addition to scoring the directing gig for The Color Purple feature musical, the filmmaker’s debut novel The Scent of Burnt Flowers has just been acquired by Ballantine Books.

“Lots of my friends call me Duch, so I think it will end up being Duchy,” the Duchess of York, 61, explains. “I call myself Duchess Doodle because I’m always doodling.”

Sarah Ferguson has opened up on what kind of her mother she believes her pregnant daughter Princess Eugenie will be when her little one arrives.The Duchess of York, who reportedly loves how she was portrayed on The Crown, thinks the 30 year old royal will take after her when it comes to raising a child. “Having not had my own mother around, I’ve always been determined to be a very present mother with my children, and I know Eugenie will be the same with hers,” the 61 year old revealed.

Not every member of the royal household are said to be impressed with how they are portrayed on The Crown. But the Duchess Of York seems very happy indeed with how she came off on the Netflix show.
