Jamie Redknapp married Frida Andersson back on October 21 last year at Chelsea Town Hall in front of their friends and family, including Jamie's parents Harry Redknapp and Sandra Redknapp. And speaking in their new book, When Harry Met Sandra, the mum of two, 75, detailed her 48 year old son's intimate wedding day, where she recalls how happy the couple looked as they cut into their wedding cake. Sandra said: "Jamie and Frida’s wedding was a small ceremony with just 30 close family and friends including Charley and Beau, Mark and Lucy, and Frank and Christine.
Frida looked absolutely beautiful. "Her dress was stunning. It was an off-the-shoulder dress and her bump looked all nice and neat.
It was a classic dress and suited her perfectly. And Jamie looked handsome in his navy suit and tie." Sandra went on to describe how they celebrated after Jamie and Frida, 38, exchanged their vows. "After the service, we all went to Scott’s restaurant in Mayfair for dinner in a private dining room.
It was relaxed and everyone really enjoyed themselves," she shared. "I remember thinking about how happy they looked when Jamie and Frida cut their cake. There was a smile between them." Sandra added: "It is lovely to see Jamie happy, it is all Harry and I can ask for. All we want is for our boys to be happy. That is all we have ever wanted." Since Jamie and Frida began dating in 2019, they have remained low-key about their relationship and barely share snaps together on social media.
But after tying the knot in London, Jamie shared a few pictures on his Instagram to give fans a sneak peek of their special day. "We wanted to share some moments from our special day," he said. "It was a very small intimate wedding with friends and family.
