The way votes are counted at elections in Salford will change this year to reflect the growing population and shifting demographics in the city.
All 20 council wards have different boundaries and 11 have new names.
There will still be three councillors representing residents in each ward – but because the boundaries are changing, all 60 council seats will now be up for grabs.
