Rob McElhenney will come to centre stage in the new Disney Plus documentary Welcome To Wrexham, which lands on Thursday, August 25. The American actor and producer, 45, bought a football club in 2021 with fellow actor and close friend Ryan Reynolds.  The new series will explore the incredible story of McElhenney and Reynold’s decision to buy Wrexham AFC, a fifth-tier team in the English Football League.

It’s been more than five years since the debut of Ryan Murphy’s other, other FX anthology project, “Feud.” After the success of “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story,” FX was hoping to get Murphy to continue his anthology hot streak with a new series that aimed its spotlight on famous Hollywood spats. During FX’s TCA executive session last week, chairman John Landgraf revealed that the upcoming Season 11 of the venerable anthology horror series will premiere this fall. This was the first piece of real information the network has provided about the new installment, the first of three picked up in 2020.

Ellise Shafer Donald Trump said on Monday that the FBI conducted a search of his home at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla.According to the New York Times, two people familiar with the matter said the search seemed to be focused on classified documents that Trump brought with him to Mar-a-Lago after leaving the White House. The Associated Press reports that the Justice Department had been investigating if Trump still had records in his possession after the National Archives and Records Administration said it found 15 boxes of classified material at the estate.The former president also issued a statement about the search, calling it a “raid” and comparing the situation to Watergate.“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump wrote in the statement, according to the Times.

EXCLUSIVE: Annaleigh Ashford is set to co-star opposite Sarah Paulson in Searchlight Pictures’ upcoming horror thriller Dust. Will Joines and Karrie Crouse are directing the pic, which was penned by Crouse.  The film will stream on Disney’s DTC platforms as a Hulu Original in the U.S., with additional release plans to be announced.  Principal photography is set to commence late August. Paulson is also exec producing.

But we now have confirmation that the upcoming season of the horror anthology series will premiere this fall. The official word came today from FX chairman John Landgraf during his executive session at the TCA summer press tour.
