Royal superfan in Wigan will celebrate Queen's Jubilee in Union Jack outfit

Throughout the Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this month, people across the country embraced the festivities and enjoyed events including Trooping the Colour and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant. As part of the celebrations, members of the royal family headed to Buckingham Palace for the Platinum Party at the Palace where they watched a range of music performances from artists including Queen, Craig David and George Ezra.

The shows will benefit charities to be announced later, according to the band.

Jacqueline Jossa and Lucy Mecklenburgh have been leading the celebrity front in street party festivities this weekend as we mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Jac, a former Eastenders star who recently took part in All Star Musicals, shared a series of Jubilee snaps from her celebrations at home with her 3.4m Instagram followers. Her young daughters Ella, seven, and Mia, three were seen dancing and smiling for the camera in red checkered co-ord matching outfits and ribbons.

The Queen is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee by inviting a very special guest for tea at Buckingham Palace: Paddington Bear.

In the run up to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations there were concerns that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s reunion with their relatives would steal the Monarch’s limelight. However, it turns out, it was her youngest relatives who stole the show.

On Thursday, high ranking members of the Royal Family joined the Queen on her Buckingham Palace balcony as they watched over the Trooping the Colour ceremony, as well as the Red Arrows display. It's possibly the most famous balcony in the world with royals having gathered on the balcony since 1851 to celebrate weddings, birthdays and to commemorate important wartime events. It was Queen Victoria who first started the tradition during the celebrations of the Great Exhibition over 170 years ago.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall made a special appearance in BBC soap EastEnders on Thursday evening.

On Wednesday, The Queen released a special portrait taken in the Victoria Vestibule at Windsor Castle in order to mark the start of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations In the portrait, Her Majesty , 96, looked radiant in a light blue dress that she paired with a pair of pearl earrings and a matching pearl necklace with the necklace in particular paying tribute to her father King George VI. The pearl necklace is a staple on the Queen and she is often pictured wearing one when attending events and making speeches.The tradition began when the Queen was given a thin platinum chain as a youngster by her father who then added two pearls to it on every birthday.

The most famous balcony in the world is the Queen’s balcony at Buckingham Palace in London. Royals have been gathering on the balcony since 1851 to celebrate weddings, birthdays and to commemorate important wartime events.

The story of the Queen’s forgotten uncle, Prince George is so far-fetched, movie producers wouldn’t touch the script with a barge-pole. Story plots of Netflix blockbuster Bridgerton seem tame in comparison to the real-life exploits of Prince George.

Queen Elizabeth is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, which begins on June 2 and runs through the weekend, concluding on June 5.There will be days full of celebration and one man is helping to kick off the festivities.
