Fox Nation’s “Girl Scout Murders” will examine new revelations about the case that have recently surfaced due to Faith Phillips, an author who has written a book about the crime. In June of 1977, the bodies of three young girls, Lori Lee Farmer, 8; Michelle Guse, 9; and Doris Denise Milner, 10, of Tulsa, were discovered after they had been abducted from their tent during the night. Selome Hailu Two years after being canceled at the Paramount Network and one year after being picked up by Fox News Media for its streaming service Fox Nation, “Cops” is returning on Sept. 30. “Cops” was the longest-running reality show in America before its cancellation. The series was first pulled from the Paramount Network’s schedule in summer 2020 in response to nationwide protests against police after the killing of George Floyd, then dropped by the network days later. It was one of several police-related television projects dropped or rewritten at the time, such as “Live P.D.,” which was canceled by A+E Networks after four seasons. The new season of “Cops” will debut with three episodes on Sept. 30, followed by weekly drops on Fridays. In support of the launch, Fox Nation will offer free one-year subscriptions to all first responders, including police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics (EMS personnel)

A new Bo Burnham-directed comedy special is hitting Hulu this Thursday, adding to the streamer’s small but mighty library of stand-up specials. “Kate Berlant: Cinnamon in the Wind” is the New York comedian’s second solo show directed by Bo Burnham for FX, and if it’s even close to as experimental and controversial as Berlant’s first outing, it will generate a lot of conversation. The special, which was filmed in 2019 before she began her off-Broadway show “Kate,” finally premieres on Hulu on Sept. 15, two years after it was recorded . Jerrod Carmichael and Chris Storer (“The Bear”) serve as executive producers on “Cinnamon in the Wind,” which features the “League of Their Own” star performing in an “absurdist set, in an intimate space, shared not only with the audience but the mirror reflection of herself,” according to FX. She plans to warp “audience expectations of her comedy, while also exploring her clairvoyant connection to the crowd and her inability to stop performing.”

In a first for FX, the network is bringing two comedy specials to Hulu featuring stand-ups Kate Berlant and Byron Bowers. Both of the specials will be available Thursday, September 15 on the streamer.
