Roman Kemp has begged fans for help after accidentally eating a special edition Cadbury's Creme Egg that was worth 10k.The 30 year old Capital FM radio host took to Twitter on Sunday to share his incredulity at the unusual chocolate treat, which was half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. He could be seen holding up the cream egg whilst enjoying a duvet day and watching TV, as he wrote: "What is this??? HALF WHITE HALF MILK CHOCOLATE?? @CadburyUK." But he quickly discovered his mistake.
He'd already eaten the egg when he posted it on Twitter, when his fans told him that it was worth £10k, after Cadbury's launched a competition with one £10,000 egg and 22 £50 winning chocolate eggs up for grabs. One of Roman's followers commented: "Erm you’ll find that might be worth upto £10K No joke!! Hope you haven’t ate it!!" As the realisation sunk in, Roman posted more hilarious commentary about his mistake, writing: "I HAVE ALREADY EATEN IT AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING ITS WORTH 10K!?".
He then added: "I HAVE EATEN IT. WHAT DO I DO NOW? HELPPPPPPPPP" before revealing: "PEOPLE SAYING ITS A PRANK OR THAT IVE TIPPEXED IT I F******** WISH." Roman, who is the son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, discussed the unfortunate mishap on his breakfast radio show the following day.
His fellow Capital radio presenter Sian Welby said: "You wallow in shame, I mean it’s the most ridiculous, why, why did you go straight to the thought it was an error." Roman explained: "Because… and this is the only reason why I bring up the fact, here’s the problem, anytime I say something related to a brand they think it’s an advert, because I do a lot of adverts, and that’s fine. "But this is a fact… I’ve eaten an egg that’s worth £10,000." Sian then said:
