Filmmakers Robert Rodriguez and Peyton Reed have been unveiled as directors for the second season of Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian.
Both stars broke the news of their involvement in the Disney+ show on Monday (04May20) as fans worldwide marked Star Wars Day.
“I am truly humbled to say I now have had the very rare privilege of directing the biggest star in the universe,” Sin City’s Rodriguez posted on Twitter, alongside a snap of himself posing with Baby Yoda.
