Robbie Savage came up with the perfect caption as his son Charlie was spotted talking to Cristiano Ronaldo during Manchester United training on Tuesday.
Charlie has already managed to achieve something his dad never did, having already made his first-team debut for the club. The 19-year-old got his call-up to the senior side in the Champions League as he made his bow against Young Boys earlier this season.
And he has continued to make strides at Carrington, having been included in first-team training as United continue their preparations for their final game of the season at Crystal Palace on Sunday. Savage could well be in the running to make his Premier League debut at Selhurst Park.

While in training this week, Savage was spotted chatting with United icon Ronaldo. The teenager shared a picture of himself talking to the Portuguese ace along with the caption 'always learning'.
His dad had a slightly different take on the interaction. While Robbie never had the chance to play alongside Ronaldo at United, he did come up against him plenty of times in the Premier League during the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s first spell at Old Trafford.
Charlie might well hope Ronaldo doesn’t remember those encounters too well. Quote-tweeting a clip of his son speaking to the Portugal international, Robbie wrote: “Your dad used to kick me,” along with a laughing face emoji.
Robbie got the chance to commentate on his son’s first-team debut earlier in the season. The former midfielder was noticeably emotional as Charlie came off the bench in the Champions League back in December.
