His masterful control of the ball is mesmerising, but the winger is now a reliable asset in front of goal for City - something they may need now more than ever.
Opinions of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling's recent departures have certainly been split. Both players have endured multiple periods of inconsistency, but their tactical intelligence and thorough understanding of Guardiola's system means they are constantly producing high numbers of goal contributions.
Taking last season in total isolation, Sterling popped up with 26 contributions in all competitions, with Jesus one behind on 25. That's 51 goal contributions City have to replace to remain competitive on all fronts - something they hope to solve with Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland's
